As Co-Founder and COO at Foundery, Kim Atkinson oversees communications and the digital success of our clients – providing ongoing support to both the team and clients.
With a background in Psychology and Anthropology from Western University, Kim brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in business, communications and marketing to the Foundery team and is a leader in client interactions and project management.
Kim is passionate about the community, supporting local businesses and sharing her knowledge of the ever-changing digital marketing industry whenever possible. She is actively involved in local community groups and organizations and is an avid networker, community speaker, mentor and volunteer. In addition to her extensive community involvement, Kim is passionate about supporting and promoting London’s flourishing tech community.
Through her passion for the community, Kim is actively involved in various organizations. She has served on the Fanshawe College Program Advisory Committee since 2017 and was a part of the London Small Business Centre Board of Directors from 2019 to 2022, supporting small businesses in the community. Kim has also been a Libro Owner Representative since 2017, demonstrating her commitment to cooperative economics and financial inclusion.
Kim’s knowledge extends beyond her direct work. In March 2024, she was featured on the “Canadian SME Small Business Magazine” podcast in an episode titled “Revolutionizing Digital Engagement with #KimAtkinson | 2024 Canadian SME.” In this interview, Kim shares her expertise on SEO and digital marketing.
